Why does data have to come at the cost of transparency?

It's time to rethink: Web3 needs more than just openness; it needs privacy layers. Allow users to participate in on-chain ecosystems while protecting core privacy. This is the true essence of decentralized autonomy.

Exactly, who says everything on the chain has to be exposed? The question is, are privacy protocols really effective, or have they become just another tool for big players to harvest profits.

I've been through it all, and the privacy coin projects in 2018 died the fastest. They hyped up promises of absolute anonymity and asset invisibility... but what happened? All exchanges delisted them, and the project teams had already run away. Now they're back? Privacy layers sound good, but how many can actually be implemented? Monero, as a survivor, has been squeezed by major exchanges, and Zcash's adoption rate is painfully low. Web3 privacy sounds appealing, but once truly anonymous, regulatory scrutiny is right around the corner. The choice is yours, but the premise is to survive.
