Conversely, she supports the CLARITY Act, which she believes protects the self-custody rights of crypto assets and prevents third parties from freezing or seizing personal assets. Greene warned the American public that if the government implements digital identities and CBDC and controls personal keys, it will severely restrict citizens' freedoms, leaving the public with "no choice but to obey or die." Although the CLARITY Act she supports has been stalled in the Senate, the GENIUS Act she opposes has become law.
