According to reports from Justice Network, Wu noted that during the keynote speech at the 15th China-ASEAN Chief Prosecutors' Conference held in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China's Chief Prosecutor and the Head of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ying Yong, pointed out that crimes such as money laundering, bribery, and corruption carried out using virtual coins and virtual assets have characteristics such as concealment, deception, and complexity, leading to difficulties in investigation and evidence collection, challenges in fact-finding, and difficulties in fund recovery. This poses new challenges for combating and governing these crimes, severely damaging the property safety of citizens in various countries, and seriously jeopardizing financial security and social stability in nations. Strengthening international cooperation in anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and fund recovery in the digital age has become an important consensus of the international community.
