In the field of cryptocurrency, over-the-counter trading is a common method of fund conversion, but it also carries risks. Many people suddenly face account freezes months after trading, which mainly stems from the complex flow of funds possibly being linked to unlawful activities. When authorities trace suspicious funds, your account may be listed as a subject of investigation.

However, account freezing does not mean that you have violated the law. As long as you can prove that you did not intentionally participate in illegal activities, the freeze can usually be lifted. To minimize risks, please avoid the following actions:
1. Frequently changing the payment card or logging into the account from different locations
2. Directly use terms related to encryption in the transaction remarks.
3. Transfer out immediately after funds are credited.
4. The information of the payee does not match that of the payer.
5. Conduct large transactions in the late night

If your account is frozen, please note:
- Beware of scams: Legitimate institutions will never ask you to transfer money or provide passwords.
- Process according to official procedures: Refunds must go through formal channels and retain relevant proof.
- Prepare sufficient evidence: including transaction records, chat logs, and bank statements.

There may be four outcomes after freezing:
1. Quickly unseal after proving innocence
2. Account is temporarily restricted, will be restored in a few months.
3. The involved funds have been frozen, while other funds remain unaffected.
4. Listed on the long-term risk control list, you need to use a new card for transactions.

To reduce risk, it is recommended to develop the following habits:
- Choose a reputable trading platform and experienced users
- Ensure the recipient's information is accurate and error-free.
- Split large transactions into multiple smaller transactions and operate during the day.
- Use neutral transaction notes to avoid mentioning encryption.
- Open a bank card specifically for receiving payments.
- Refuse to collect or transfer funds on behalf of others

By following these recommendations, you can significantly reduce the risk of account freezes in cryptocurrency trading and ensure the safety of your funds.

If you don't play, don't freeze randomly.

It's better to just go to a restaurant and swipe the card.
