In just 7 days, I completed 8 speeches in 3 cities (Bali Coinfest, Tokyo WebX, Hong Kong Bitcoin Asia) (plus 3 DJ performances!), but this isn't about me. This is a thank you to the Gate behind-the-scenes team, who are the real stars and rarely step into the spotlight. Let's start with the most obvious team: the event team. They often need to start preparing these events months in advance, and often, before one event wraps up, they have to dive straight into the next one. They have to ensure that every guest and speaker arrives on time, and that everything happens at the right time and place. Some colleagues are backstage or at the reception from early morning until late at night, never seeing the event they worked so hard to prepare. They are the true warriors.
