Davinci Jeremie, one of the famous names in the crypto world, has drawn attention since 2013 when he urged people to buy Bitcoin for just 114 dollars. At that time, Davinci Jeremie, one of the first users of Bitcoin, shared Bitcoin and XRP.
In response to a video shared by the account X named Altcoin Daily, Davinci Jeremie described XRP as a scam. Commenting on a video in which the host announced a $1.3 million investment in XRP and claimed that he expected the price to eventually rise to $10, this celebrity criticized XRP while praising Bitcoin.
"Most people own Bitcoin and XRP but do not know what they have. Because one side is the best place to store assets (BTC), the other side is a scam that you can gamble (XRP)."
This is not the first time Jeremie has criticized XRP. Previously, this celebrity has called it garbage.
And Davinci Jeremie is not the only one criticizing XRP. Blockchain researcher ZachXBT, dubbed the Sherlock Holmes of the crypto world, has also targeted XRP.
ZachXBT announced that he will no longer support the XRP community, claiming that XRP and its community do not bring value to the industry. "I currently do not support the XRP community and will mock anyone who messages me directly," ZachXBT said, targeting XRP holders for continuously hindering further price potential.
