Why did my dad convert to Buddhism?

Why does my family practice Buddhism more?
Personal experiences that cannot be explained by science!

In my family's countryside, I remember when I was young, my dad went to the big city to work on construction sites to support the family. One day, when I came back from school, I saw my dad lying on the bed. I learned from my mom that he had fallen from the top of a building at the construction site. There was no danger to his life, but he had injured his tailbone and needed to rest at home for a while.

At that time, I asked my dad how he fell down. My dad said that he slipped by the edge of the building and fell down. At the moment he hit the ground, he saw my grandma, who caught him for a moment; otherwise, he would have died.

I thought my dad was lying to me until many strange things happened at home, and I believed it.

The time I remember the most was when I was watching TV with my dad in the house, and suddenly my dad was pale and became very angry, and his mouth was speaking a foreign dialect that he didn't understand, and he completely changed into a person, as if he was being ghosted, which frightened me, my mom went to the kitchen to get a knife, and scolded and said, hurry up, if you don't go, I'll kill you, my dad spoke in dialect, roughly meaning, I don't go, who let you build a building over there, and after about half an hour, it recovered.

Afterwards, I asked my dad, and he also didn't know what had just happened or what was said. This situation continued for a while, and later my aunt said there was someone in her village who could read incense, and she was quite skilled, so she could come and give it a try.

The next morning, my mom went to my aunt's village and found someone who was looking for incense. They said they would come to our house in the afternoon. In the morning, my mom came back to cook for us. On the way home, something strange happened again; there were inexplicable blood stains on my mom's clothes, and she hadn't bumped into anything while riding her bike.

In the afternoon, my dad was sleeping in the room when the incense person arrived. As soon as they entered the main door, my dad started to become agitated and was very scared, saying "I'm leaving, I'm leaving." Then the incense person took something similar to a talisman, burned it, and put it in a bowl of water to drink. After that, they asked us to place some Buddha statues for worship. Since then, there has been no more possession phenomenon. From then on, my dad started to visit temples to burn incense and worship Buddha, lighting incense on the first and fifteenth of the month.

The above is my personal experience. Although we should believe in science, there are indeed some things that are difficult to explain scientifically. When my son was little, he had a high fever for no reason, cried and fussed at night, and it lasted for several days. Even after getting injections and medication at the hospital, there was no improvement. I called my dad to pray, and the next day he got better.

Including the recent Xi'an dragon incident, I also believe that dragons really exist.
