In the past few years, I've noticed that all the traders who make a lot of money have lifestyles that resemble what ordinary people would consider to be that of a "loser." What kind of waste is this? The pace of life is slow, the pace of speaking is slow, and the thinking cycle is slow. On ordinary days, they do nothing, appearing idle, yet they don’t even know what they are doing all day. Where has their energy gone? It has all been spent on reading and thinking. What to think about? What is the real right? This right, as long as you do it right once or twice in a year or two, is enough. Then what? Just do what you need to do. A very unhuman phenomenon is that the most reliable investments are not the ones that keep you awake at night, but rather the ones that give you the most peace of mind. If an investment requires you to worry about it every day, then it is very likely that this investment will fail. The best investment in the world is one that requires no management after the investment is made; the best investment is one that allows you to count your money while lying in bed. Therefore, good investors are particularly patient and have a Zen-like quality. For 1% of the time, they are like a big cat, moving swiftly like a startled hare at the moment they pounce on their prey; for the remaining 99% of the time, they are like a wooden bowl, quietly standing there, as still as a maiden. So, if our investment level has not progressed, we may need to calm down and ask ourselves if we still seem like a "waste person"?
