The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Federal Reserve (FED) is not subject to Trump's dismissal authority.

Gate News bot message, Bloomberg reported that the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on May 23, confirming the Federal Reserve's (Fed) positioning as a "quasi-private entity with a unique structure," excluding it from Trump's authority to dismiss independent federal agency officials.

The court also approved Trump's removal of the heads of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Civil Service Grievance Protection Board (MSPB) during the proceedings. The ruling makes it clear that the position of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is not within Trump's recall authority.
