Who made money from OpenClaw? How did they do it?



Kong Jianping sold "Claw PC" hardware at $439 per unit — AMD 5600H hosts with pre-installed ClawOS, promoted through roadshows in various Chinese cities. A white-label factory in Dongguan (originally producing Filecoin mining machines) now provides OEM/ODM services for "AI Host OpenClaw Optimized Edition."

RoofClaw specialized in selling pre-installed MacBooks with industry-specific OpenClaw agents, priced at $5,000 per unit. Accumulated revenue reached $1.8 million.

Paid installation and deployment services became the fastest monetization path. "Cleaning + OpenClaw Installation" combo service priced at 400 RMB per day.

There were also uninstallation services, with each uninstallation charged at 299 RMB.
