Mr. Beast continues to buy ASTER despite being accused of insider trading.
Mr. Beast continues to attract attention by depositing more USDC to buy ASTER, spending nearly 1 million USD in the past few days. On-chain data shows that the wallet linked to him has accumulated more than 538,000 ASTER, worth about 990,000 USD at an average price of 1.87 USD, before transferring to a new wallet without selling. This move comes despite previous accusations of insider trading.
Previously, Mr. Beast lost about 20,000 USD when leveraging ASTER, but he has now switched to buying spot. His participation has contributed to the price surge and attention on Aster DEX. However, after reaching a peak of 2.31 USD, ASTER has dropped to 1.91 USD amidst the altcoin market correction.
Nevertheless, Aster DEX still recorded a remarkable achievement: locked value of 2.21 billion USD, daily trading fees of 16.36 million USD, and over 770,000 active traders.
