Arrow Electronics Joins Hedera Council To Boost Supply Chain Tech

• The Hedera Council is composed of major global organizations overseeing the security and progress of the public Hedera Network. On June 4, 2025, Arrow Electronics announced it has joined the Hedera Council in Centennial, Colorado. The move aims to back decentralized oversight of the Hedera Network and to develop a new global supply chain initiative focusing on efficiency and standards.

Arrow is now developing a supply chain solution built on Hedera’s DLT, focusing on real-time tracking of goods, automated compliance checks, and improved logistics for manufacturing and distribution worldwide. The company generated about $28 billion in global sales in 2024.

As an official member of the council, Arrow will operate a network node and participate in managing the open-source code for the Hedera platform. “Arrow is always pursuing new technologies, such as Hedera, to help enhance our supply chain operations and ability to service global suppliers and customers,” said Chuck Kostalnick, Senior Vice President and Chief Logistics and Strategic Business Development Officer at Arrow Electronics.

Council members help oversee governance updates and run nodes that maintain the security and transparency of the public Hedera Network.
