On July 4th, Jin10 Data reported that the production line utilization rate of Kioxia has rebounded to 100% in June, and it will start mass-producing the most advanced storage chip (NAND Flash) products within July to meet the growing demand for data storage due to the popularity of generative AI. Kioxia will stack 218 layers of data storage components for the NAND Flash products to be mass-produced, increasing the storage capacity by about 50% compared to current products, and reducing the power required for writing data by about 30%.
