Oracle stocks rose 29% in pre-market trading.

Oracle's adjusted earnings per share for the first quarter were $1.47, compared to an expectation of $1.48; adjusted revenue for the first quarter was $14.93 billion, while analysts had expected $15.03 billion; cloud infrastructure revenue (IAAS) for the first quarter was $3.3 billion, with analysts expecting $3.38 billion.
